Hindley Salopian wall plaque with raised work, passion flowers

Wall plaque with passion flower raised work border in monochrome grey glaze.

Mark: Impressed HINDLEY / SALOPIAN oval mark
Diameter: 355mm / 13.75in 
Date: 1880–1882

Two other identical plaques to this are known, both glazed in shades of green. One is marked WA/B (presumed to stand for William Allen / Benthall) with the centre painted with butterflies hovering over passion flowers, the other has a Hindley Salopian oval mark.
